Southern LIG
Summer's almost over and the Christmas season hasn't quite kicked in yet (although I have it on good authority that the Christmas department at a certain Knightsbridge store opened two weeks ago).
Need something to fill the void and brighten up the evening? The Southern LIG (Local Interest Group) of STC UK will be meeting on Thursday, 21 September 2006 in Reading. Come and join us for a lively evening of drinks, conversation and fun.
Where?
Chronicles Cellar Bar and Bistro
17-19 Valpy Street
Reading
Berkshire
RG1 1AR Tel: 0118 950 4613 http://www.chroniclesrestaurant.com Chronicles provides a good selection of "Modern English" dishes at reasonable prices as well as beers, cocktails and an extensive wine list. The bistro is just around the corner from Reading station and a couple of minutes walk from the Oracle car park. When?
Thursday, 21 September 2006. We will be there from 18:30 onwards, just feel free to arrive when you can. Who?
All welcome, whether STC members or not. Please forward this information to anyone you think might be interested. Our aim is to provide a regular meeting point for tech communicators, a bi-monthly opportunity to exchange ideas and experiences in convivial surroundings. Join us on the 28th in Reading to hear about our plans and tell us what you think. Want to join us?
Arrangements are very informal, but it would help to have a rough idea of numbers. Please email Tina on thoffman@pathtrace.com so we know how many people to expect. We look forward to seeing you there.
