The last meeting was on 30th August. It was a small meeting--four members turned up--(Jane, Sheaffe, Yvonne and myself).

We decided to keep these meetings informal. There was some discussion about how we can get technical writers living outside Dublin involved. We think members based in Cork, Galway, Limerick etc. should form their own groups and arrange their own meetings as it is not practical for members to travel to Dublin. We thought it might be a good idea to meet once a year at Christmas maybe, but this is something that will need some organisation etc and maybe this should be left for next year.

The next meeting of the LIG will take place in the Ginger Man on the 25th October. See www.dublinpubscene.com/thepubs/gingerman.html. I have not changed the day or the venue. If anyone has any other suggestions, be my guest...)

I am still waiting for an issue with the STC Discussion List to be resolved. As soon as it is, I'll send on the log on details etc.
