June 2006 Newsletter Chapter Matters
Editorial
Ed Portas' article on Web Statistics in the April 06 Newsletter identified the one-page August 05 Newsletter as the page on our site that people spent most time reading during March 2006. Seven months later people spent an average of 8 minutes reading this page!

What made this newsletter so attractive? Of course, we can't be sure why people read a particular page, but the August issue had a number of articles full of practical information, which clearly have lasting appeal. They included:

There was also an article from Nancy, our new President, on why she decided to become a technical author, and a letter about changes in STC Leadership from Suzanne Laurent, who was STC President at the time.

This represents a wide variety of information from lots of different sources. Material came from North America, UK and Europe, and was contributed by members, non-member colleagues, UK Committee members and the Society's President.

As editors, we rely on contributions from all our members to keep the newsletter supplied with a range of interesting information. We're keen to include information about personal achievements and details of events you've been to, as well as your solution to problems.

How about sending your contribution in?
