Scriptorium Publishing Launches Distance Learning Initiative
Scriptorium Publishing announces that its 2006 training schedule for FrameMaker, XML, and XSL now includes live, instructor-led classes delivered over the web.
"We attract students from all over North America and the world," said Sarah O'Keefe, President. "We recognize, though, that travel cost and effort is an obstacle for many students. With live, instructor-led, web-based training, we bring the classroom to each student's desktop."
In addition to eliminating the expense and complexity of travel, web-based class tuition is 25 percent less than the classroom equivalent.
The web-based classes follow the same curriculum as the classroom versions but are taught in half-day increments rather than full days. A two-day classroom offering becomes a four half-day web-based event.
"Many people assume that web-based training is superficial and self-directed," said O'Keefe. "We have combined our in-depth course material with the convenience of web delivery. These classes offer the same fast-paced, results-oriented instruction found in our classroom offerings."
In addition to the public training schedule, Scriptorium Publishing offers private training classes in the classroom and over the web. Private classes are scheduled at the client's convenience and may include customized content.
Scriptorium Publishing excels at developing customized, automated publishing systems and explaining complex technical concepts with useful, hands-on training and clear, concise documents. The company is based in Cary, North Carolina, USA.
