Our client is an international leader in innovation engineering and consulting; they have more than 8500 collaborators in 15 countries. Their motivated teams have accompanied clients worldwide in the deployment of their projects for more than 40 years, developing and integrating technologies for innovative products, production processes, and leading edge infrastructures.

For an international project involving France, Germany, the US and Asia, they are currently seeking a technical author in Automation Technology to join their team in Sophia-Antipolis, France. The salary range is 30-40K Euros, depending on experience and qualifications.
Your role is to develop and author the documentation set for use and maintenance of automated products and systems.

  • The documentation set includes technical notices, user manuals, and online help.
  • Strong technical experience, with a background in automation (strongly preferred) or electrical or mechanical engineering, are essential to this role.
  • Programming skills would be a definite plus.

In addition, we are looking for:

  • Strong experience in technical authoring and software tools
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Fluent English


All documentation is written in English with an eye to translation. French and German skills are a plus.

The position is based near Sophia-Antipolis, France, near Nice.
