Job Description:
Axway, a global software company with R&D and Support centers located worldwide, seeks a technical writer with at least one year's experience to join its growing documentation team near Paris (Puteaux). As part of the User Experience team, the doc team works closely with internal training, usability experts and a graphic designer.
Main responsibilities:
- Work with R&D and Product Management to design and plan technical documentation
- Write English-language documentation for a wide range of Axway products and solutions
- Ensure documentation meets user requirements and usability criteria
- Maintain and update documentation in line with product enhancements and corrections
Additional responsibilities may include creating, editing and testing training material.
Profile:
- Native English speaker with enough French to work successfully in a multicultural company
- At least 2 years experience as a technical writer in the IT industry
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work under pressure and respect deadlines
- Ability to work both in a team and independently
- Ability to learn new tools and skills as required
Technical skills:
- High level of comfort with information technology
- Knowledge of Madcap Flare or similar HAT
- Knowledge of agile software development, structured authoring, content management or version control systems a bonus
