At our Blogs and Wikis meeting in Birmingham, Nancy Halverson received a DCSA award from STC Vice President Mark Clifford.

At our March 2007 meeting in Birmingham on Blogs and Wikis, STC UK chapter President Nancy Halverson was awarded STC's prestigious Distinguished Chapter Service Award. This is one of the highest honours that STC can bestow on a member. It is only awarded to members who have made an outstanding contribution. By definition, these people tend to be outstanding individuals.

The award was initiated by STC's Southwestern Ontario chapter, in recognition of the superb work that Nancy did for them before she moved to England. The award citation read: "For your enthusiasm and commitment to the Southwestern Ontario Chapter and the STC, even while on the other side of the pond."

STC Vice President Mark Clifford travelled to the event specially to present the award to Nancy.

And a big "well done" to Nancy from everyone in STC UK!
