STC Region 2 Conference 13th-14th October 2006

Social Events

To allow you to enjoy meeting fellow STC members and get to see some of what London has to offer, as well as getting you out of the hotel, we have organised a social event on Friday evening, 13th October 2006.

Fly the British Airways London Eye

As a special attraction for our visitors to London we are proposing a flight on the British Airways London Eye, the world's largest observation wheel. At 135 metres high (twice the height of the famous Prater wheel in Vienna) you will get a fantastic view across London and the River Thames at night.

Following our flight on the 'Eye' we have arranged to eat in the private dining room at a local French-style restaurant, Chez Gerard. Join us for a stylish three-course meal including wine and coffee.

This great excursion, including the London Eye Flight, the meal at Chez Gerard and return transport from the conference hotel, costs just £45 per person. Alternatively, you can take part in the London Eye flight only for just £20 per person.

As we need to confirm our booking well in advance, please complete and return your booking form, which includes your menu choices for the meal at Chez Gerard by Friday 29 September at the latest. We must also receive your payment by this date. You may use the booking form to reserve places for several people at once. Partners who are not conference delegates are welcome on this excursion.

You may pay by PayPal, using the buttons below, or by cheque drawn on a UK bank.

Please complete and return the booking form even if you pay using PayPal.
