STC Region 2 Conference 13th-14th October 2006
Hotel Information
If you are planning to stay at the conference hotel, we have negotiated a special rate. The hotel is offering rooms £75 per person per night including English breakfast. Contact the Hampstead Britannia Hotel reservations department (phone number 020-7586-2233) and tell them you are attending the STC Conference on 13th and 14th October. If you would like to look for a different hotel in the area here's a convenient list of nearby hotels from a travel web site (link to an external site - the STC is not responsible for the contents of this site). How to get to the Conference Hotel
The Conference takes place at the Hampstead Britannia Hotel, Primrose Hill Road, London NW3 3NA. The hotel is on the corner of Primrose Hill Road and Adelaide Road. It's useful to make a note of the postcode for the hotel NW3 3NA, as many interactive maps use postcodes. Here's the hotel's location on Google Maps. The nearest London Underground stations are Chalk Farm on the Northen Line, or Swiss Cottage on the Jubilee Line. The No.31 bus stops outside the hotel in Adelaide Road. Use the interactive Journey Planner from Transport for London to plan your route to the hotel by public transport. Type in your starting point, for example Heathrow Airport, in the first field, and select Postcode for the second field and type in NW3 3NA. There are fast trains to central London from each of London's airports which interchange with London Underground:- Heathrow Airport: take the Heathrow Express to Paddington, or take the London Underground
- Gatwick Airport: the Gatwick Express goes to Victoria
- Stansted Airport: the Stansted Express goes to Tottenham Hale and Liverpool Street
For information on the area around the conference hotel see our Local Area Information page.
